- Food-contact surfaces not sanitized after cleaning, before use. Do not use equipment/utensils not properly sanitized. Employee washed a blender at the three compartment sink but failed to sanitize after rinsing. Discussed with employee to follow all three steps in a three compartment sink.
- Test kit for measuring the concentration of the sanitizing solution not used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions or employee unaware of proper use. Quaternary ammonia test strips are expired.
- Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Lid of a blender stored inside front service line handwashing sink. Employee removed lid at time of inspection.
- Food stored on floor. Two cases of yogurt mix are stored on the floor inside walk-in cooler.
- Interior of refrigerator or freezer in disrepair/has exposed insulation. Walk in freezer door is hard to open. Employees are required to use a hammer to pry open freezer door. Damage to the side of the freezer door, cause by hammer, insulation is exposed.
